Courteny Green – Dance Instructor Recreational & Competitive Team

Courteny originates from Cranbrook, BC, where she started her training at age 2 studying ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and modern. She graduated from St. Lawrence College with an advanced diploma in Music Theatre in 2014, and is slated to graduate from Queen’s University with a bachelor’s of Musical Theatre in May of 2020. Courteny has been an ADAPT certified Jazz and Tap teacher since summer 2018, and an Acrobatic Arts teacher since 2017.  She is also a Musical Theatre performer, and some of her previous credits include; Onward and Upwards (Mrs. Drudge, Swing, Stage Manager) at Fort Steele Heritage Town, Rusalka (Sprite 1) with Kicking Horse Culture, Les Miserables (Chorus), Anything Goes (Erma Understudy, Vocal Captain), 42nd Street (Ethel) , The Mikado (Chorus), and New Faces (Dance Captain) at St.Lawrence College, and has been a part of the children’s theatre company The Puddle Jump Players (Choreographer, Assistant Director, Lyricist).

Teagan Paquette – Dance Instructor Recreational & Competitive Team

Teagan was born in Lansdowne, ON. He was 5 years old when he started in theatre and he was in many productions with Dreams In Motion. He started dance lessons shortly after. Teagan has since participated in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip-hop. He has been on the Competitive Team since 2014 and has earned several awards and special recognition in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Open. He began teaching in 2019, after being an Assistant for a couple of years. He also liked to be behind the scenes and has done lighting and sound simultaneously for a professional production from Montreal at the Royal Theatre, in Gananoque and even for our Recitals.  Teagan will be teaching and Choreographing Hip Hop for Recreational and for the Competitive Team this year!


Kerri Paquette – Office Administrator

Kerri has been volunteering at Dreams In Motion since 2008 and was a member of the Dreams In Motion Board of Directors. As a child she participated in gymnastics and tap. She taught gymnastics as a student teacher. She was an avid horse back rider as well and spent many hours volunteering with students with special needs as well as with the elderly. She graduated from St. Lawrence College in 1990 with a diploma in Behavioural Science Technology. She received the Principal’s Award, President’s Award, Academic Counsel Award (graduating top of her class) and was on the List of Distinction. She has spent the last several years at Dreams In Motion learning more about dance and even taking some dance classes. Kerri has been taking part in many theatrical productions behind the scenes as Stage Manager, Set Manger (& builder), Props Manager, Costuming and occasionally she could be seen on stage too! Kerri is pleased to welcome everyone into our brand new, renovated facility!!
