Please note students need to wear their hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun (ballet). Short hair needs to be pulled back with bobby pins or barrettes if needed.
No jewellery (other than stud earrings). This is for the safety of the students.

Mommy and Me ( Ages 1&1/2 – 3)
This Class is a great time to dance and be creative with your little dancer. In this class we focus on the basics of movement and exploration of music while promoting a fun and safe time to spend with your little one.
Creative Movement (ages 2 & 1/2 – 5)
This fun class for our smallest rising stars, ages 2 & 1/2 – 5, involves creative movement set to music. In this class students will learn basic positions, movements and terminology of dance, flexibility, coordination, imagination, balance, poise, and creativity. Dance Wear required: Body Suit, pink or white tights, Pink Ballet Slippers (Tutu or ballet skirt are optional), Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants & black ballet slippers. Hair needs to be pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun.
Jazz/Ballet & Jazz/Acro Spilt ( ages 5-8years)
These great classes are meant as a transition class for our younger dancers who want to try different types of dance! These classes focus on two different styles of dance to give your little dancer a taste of two styles in a fun, energetic and age appropriate way.
Ballet (ages 8 & up)
Ballet is one of the oldest dance forms and is an important asset to any dancer. Ballet not only builds the foundation needed to become a strong technical dancer, but a safe dancer as well. Students will develop their dance technique, flexibility, body awareness and discipline, through this graceful and beautiful form of dance.
Students are required to wear a black bodysuit, pink tights and pink ballet shoes; a wrap sweater may also be worn. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants & black ballet slippers. Hair needs to be pulled back in a bun.
Pointe & Pre-Pointe classes are available subject to evaluation by teacher.
Jazz (ages 8 & up)
This high energy class takes the technique of ballet and puts it into a fast and fun paced movement vocabulary. Students will learn a variety of movements that will work on body isolations and coordination as well as strength, flexibility, leaps, and turns.
Students are required to wear a bodysuit, beige tights and slip on jazz shoes; black dance shorts or black leggings may also be worn. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants & slip on jazz shoes. Hair needs to be pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun.
Acrobatics (8 & up)
Acrobatics is the blend of gymnastic and dance technique focusing on flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline, and concentration. In this class you will learn such skills as handstands, chin stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, and more all at each student’s individual level of experience.
Students are required to wear a black bodysuit, beige footless tights or barefoot; dance shorts may also be worn. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts and barefoot. Hair needs to be pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun.
Contemporary/Lyrical (ages 10 & up)
Contemporary and lyrical dance are becoming increasing popular due to television shows such as So You Think You Can Dance. these styles combine a blend of jazz, ballet, and modern technique often set to the lyrics of a song in order to tell a story through movement and emotion. Students are required to wear a black bodysuit, dance shorts may also be worn. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants. Please ask the teacher regarding tights & footwear. Hair needs to be pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun.
Hip Hop (ages 8 & up)
In today’s culture, hip hop is easily the most publicized and known dance form. This class will allow the students to learn all different forms of hip hop such as popping, locking, house, tricks and much more. Come and get funky with us! Dance Wear required: Body Suit (Girls), Girls & Boys: T-shirt, Black Sweat Pants or Black Leggings. Hip Hop Style shoes (indoor runners or high-tops). Hair needs to be pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun.
Tap (ages 4 & up)
Tap allows for a dancer’s body to become a percussive instrument with the help of tap shoes. It uses jazz music and adds a rhythmic twist. Students will learn the importance of the music’s beat and rhythm in this high energy class. Students are required to wear a black bodysuit, beige tights and black tap shoes Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants & black tap shoes with white ankle socks. Hair needs to be pulled back in a bun.
Musical Theatre (ages 8 & up)
This fun filled, theatre based class incorporates acting, dancing, and lip syncing. Students will learn how to connect emotions with dance, acquire jazz and ballet technique, expand creativity through drama and theatre, and improve confidence, self-esteem, and coordination. Students may wear a black body suit and tights with optional dance shorts, pants or leggings and slip on jazz shoes. Boys wear a black t-shirt, black shorts or dance pants and slip on jazz shoes. Hair needs to be pulled back in a bun.
